How to delete your OptiDo account and data

This page applies to all OptiDo users, including those who signed in via Google, Facebook, GitHub, or Apple. It explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data, in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR (the "right to erasure").

1. Option 1 — Delete instantly from the app

The fastest way: open the OptiDo app (mobile or web), go to Settings → Delete my account, and confirm. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

2. Option 2 — Request by email

If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request to legal@cmtech.cloud from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

3. If you signed in with Facebook

Removing the OptiDo app from your Facebook settings (Settings → Apps and Websites) does not automatically delete your OptiDo account. Use Option 1 or Option 2 above to also delete your data with OptiDo.

4. What gets deleted

Deleted immediately

Your account and profile (name, email, profile picture).

All lists you own, and their tasks.

Your access to lists shared with you (you are removed from other users' lists).

Your membership in a Family/Duo group.

Your authentication account (Firebase Auth).

Retained temporarily (legal obligation)

Billing data (transaction history) is retained for 10 years as required by French accounting and tax law, even after account deletion. See our Privacy Policy for details.
