1. Service Description
OptiDo is a task management application that allows users to create, organise, and manage to-do lists and tasks. The Service includes optional AI-powered features (task analysis, time estimation, planning suggestions) and family-sharing capabilities.
The Service is available as a web application and a mobile application. Certain features require a paid subscription.
2. Account Registration
To access the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using an email address and password, or via a supported third-party provider (Google, GitHub, Twitter/X, Facebook).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@cmtech.cloud of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
• Use the Service to transmit, store, or process unlawful, offensive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or harmful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service;
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without prior written consent;
• Use the Service in a manner that could impair, overload, or compromise the security or performance of the Service;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise any part of the Service without authorisation.
4. Subscription Plans
OptiDo offers the following plans: Free, Light, Pro, and Duo. A detailed description of features and pricing is available on the pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
The Free plan includes limited functionality. Upgrade to Pro or Duo to unlock unlimited tasks, AI features, and other premium capabilities.
5. AI Features
AI-powered features (task analysis, time estimation, smart planning, recipe suggestions) are available to users on the Pro and Duo plans.
AI features are subject to a daily usage limit (30 requests per day). These limits may be updated with prior notice.
AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. OptiDo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. You remain solely responsible for decisions based on AI suggestions.
AI processing may be performed by third-party providers (Groq or Anthropic). Your task data may be transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of generating AI responses. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
6. Family Sharing
The Duo plan allows 2 members to share a single subscription. The account holder who subscribes is the Family Owner and is responsible for managing membership and billing.
By accepting a family invitation, you agree to share your account status with the Family Owner. The Family Owner can remove members at any time.
Each family member retains their own individual account, tasks, and lists, which remain private unless explicitly shared.
7. Intellectual Property
OptiDo and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of CMTech. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of CMTech.
You retain full ownership of the data and content you create using the Service (task names, notes, lists, etc.). By using the Service, you grant OptiDo a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Availability and Modifications
CMTech reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. CMTech will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the website and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting legal@cmtech.cloud or using the account deletion option in the application settings.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OptiDo and CMTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
The total liability of CMTech for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
11. Warranty Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
CMTech does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of France.
